This class represents the data elements found in the Social History section of the Behavioral Health Summary Report. "The Social History domain refers to the information about the client's education, occupation, usual daily activities, relationships with friends and family, social supports and stresses, financial status/insurance coverage and habits such as use of cigarettes or alcohol that have known health consequences. This domain may include information that could be exchanged by various agencies, including criminal justice, housing, social service agencies, federal or state departments of labor, etc. This section/domain contains many psycho-social factors specific to Behavioral Health examinations and visit and it has been greatly constrained to meet the needs of BH providers. Meaningful Use certification require that smoking status is a required social history item.
