This subtype of Code adds a numerical value, which could be either a score for codes used to capture potential answers on an assessment instrument, or might be used to provide functionality for "coded ordinals", which assigns a value to a concept. In either case, this value is pre-defined in the coding system, and therefore could be looked up in the coding system. Therefore, this datatype may be removed in the future, as it really isn't necessary, but may be useful in implementations which may wish to avoid a separate call to a terminology server.
